Create an Account: You do not have to register to visit or browse our Website. However, you are required to sign up to become a member of the RetroSparX community before purchasing a RetroSparX unit. When you do this, you will be required to provide certain information to create an account, including your name, gender, date of birth, residential address, email address, username and password. If you are acting on behalf of a Seniors Organization (as defined in our Terms of Use section), you will provide us with the name of that Seniors Organization and your position and contact information within the Seniors Organization. We strongly recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone. We will never ask you for your password in any unsolicited communication (such as letters, phone calls or email messages). If you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account, you are required to notify us immediately.

Purchasing RetroSparX Content: If you decide to purchase certain RetroSparX content, you will be asked to provide your credit card number and other payment card information. As noted in our “Sharing Personal Information” section below, we may use third party service providers such as PayPal or Stripe to process such transactions.

Marketing Communications: If you sign-up to receive email marketing communications such as newsletters or blog posts, we collect your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of each email. Alternatively, you can opt-out of receiving email marketing communications by contacting us at the contact information provided in the “Contact Us” section below. Please note that you may continue to receive transactional or account-related communications from us.

SAFEGUARDS AND RETENTION

When you sign up as a member of the RetroSparX community, you may provide personal information as identified above. We will treat this information as private and remain in sole possession of this information pursuant to our privacy policy. We will preserve this information to use it to deliver content and any other RetroSparX materials or products to you in future.

We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures in an effort to safeguard the personal information in our custody and control against theft, loss and unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure. We restrict access to personal information on a need-to-know basis to employees and authorized service providers who require access to fulfil their job requirements. We may also use information you provide in order to continually monitor consumer appeal of our products so that we can better serve our community in future and deliver personalized recommendations of content you might enjoy, based on your purchasing history. We have record retention processes designed to retain personal information for no longer than necessary for the purposes set out herein or as otherwise required to meet legal or business requirements.

When you purchase RetroSparX content, you provide your credit card information. We will not keep this information on file or give it to third parties. However, you will be required to re-enter payment information each time you make a purchase through our Website.

Subject to limited exceptions under applicable law, you have the right to access, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal information in our custody and control.
